1. Unite us, O holy virgin Mary, to the reverence and to the silent joy of st. Zachary, of st. Elizabeth, to the joy and exultation of the Baptist, to the feast of all the souls and the peoples in accepting your unexpected visits so salutary for the eternal glory.
2. You brought us Jesus! Before he could offer himself to us in the mystery of his sacrifice, before he could donate himself to us in the mystery of his doctrine, before he could conquer us in the operation of his wonders.
3. He offers himself for us in your virginal womb, comes to us in your visitation, speaks to us with your words, sanctifies us with your presence.
4. On account of which mysterious reason it comes to us the honor and the ineffable benefit of your visit? How come you left the solitude of Nazareth and the recollection of your holy home?
5. You placed yourself on the ways of the world, towards our houses of sinners, at the very moment you became mother of God, when it might have appeared more appropriate for you to stay there in God alone.
6. Coming to us, you do not abandon your ecstasy in the Lord! You greatly immerse yourself in the mystery of redemption begun with the incarnation of the divine Word in you.
7. You bring the souls to divine grace with the most glorious form of thanksgiving, which is this cooperation of yours to the divine work.
8. On account of which mysterious reason there comes to us the honor and the inestimable benefit of your visit? From the usual charity and humility of your heart, O most beloved and humble Virgin!
9. It comes to us by the charity and humility of the heart of Jesus that beats in you and elevates your humility and charity to the supreme resemblance and union with his divine humility and charity .
