1. O St. Joseph, you have been created intentionally to be loved with privileged love, to enjoy the most unlimited trust, to exercise superiority corresponding to your primacy.
2. You are more than the old Joseph, who even in misfortune of the greatest humiliation and slavery, found much grace in the presence of his master, who made him to live in his house and honored him with all his trust.
3. In his hands, he entrusts all the affairs, and he rests in peace, since he understands and experiences that the Lord is with his servant to fill his person with blessings, and to prosper all the things that pass through his hands.
4. I want to participate in this current of supernatural attraction that all show towards you. I want to entrust into your hands all my small world of relations with the neighbor.
5. While I aspire to a state of happiness, even materially, in flourishing good health, in the abundance of means, in the nobility of relations, I neglect in the meantime the spiritual prosperity.
6. My interior life is so poor that I do not have the idea of the prosperity of spiritual health, of the abundance of the supernatural means in the richness of the merits of eternal life.
7. What the Lord wants about my temporal state I don’t know; may his will be done! I am certain that he wants maximum spiritual prosperity and he entrusted this to you as your talent and mission.
8. To you, then, my St. Joseph, I entrust my soul from the part of the most holy Trinity, who entrusted to you Mary and Jesus, so that in union with them you may assume the direction and government of my soul and make all prosper.
9. Grant that I may concern myself only with my duty to avoid every sin and unite myself in love with the beloved, fulfilling every moment the divine will. I am certain that you will look after me and provide all that I need, O first minister of divine providence and wisdom.
